Tracy Bono Joins BCI as Director of Development
Boone Center, Inc. (BCI) is pleased to announce the hiring of Tracy Bono as its new Director of Development. In this role, Bono will focus on expanding individual giving, building a donor Giving Club, and developing a major gifts pipeline to strengthen philanthropic support for BCI’s mission.
Bono brings more than 20 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising, donor engagement, and community partnership. Most recently, she served as Development Director for Greater St. Louis Area Scouting, where she led fundraising and partnership efforts. Her background also includes leadership roles at nonprofit organizations and experience supporting adults with developmental disabilities at Emmaus Homes.
Bono’s connection to BCI’s mission is also personal. As a parent and advocate for disability rights, inclusion and opportunity, she co-founded the Black Cat Coffee Café Project with her son, a pop-up café that provides hands-on vocational experiences for young adults with developmental disabilities.
“Tracy brings a valuable combination of fundraising experience, community connections and a genuine passion for creating opportunities for people with disabilities,” said Kristin Williams, BCI’s Chief Development Officer. “As we work to grow philanthropic support for our mission, I’m excited about the relationships she’ll build and the possibilities ahead.”
Bono holds a Master of Science in Human Resource Management from Lindenwood University and a Bachelor of Science in Communications/Electronic Media from Missouri State University.
BCI’s mission is to inspire, develop, and support people with disabilities through a continuum of innovative employment opportunities.
