Rising incomes and continued population growth highlight St. Charles County’s economic strength and expanding opportunities.

Three St. Charles County ZIP codes are among a growing number of communities in the St. Louis region where median household income has climbed above $100,000.

According to a recent St. Louis Business Journal analysis, the following ZIP codes have crossed the threshold since 2014:

  • 63348 – Foristell: approximately $116,000
  • 63385 – Wentzville: approximately $112,000
  • 63366 – O’Fallon: approximately $101,000

The Foristell area recorded the largest income increase among the region’s more-populated ZIP codes, while its population grew by more than 50%. The Business Journal found that rapid population growth was a common factor among many of the ZIP codes reaching the $100,000 milestone.

The results reflect a broader trend across St. Charles County. U.S. Census Bureau data places the county’s overall median household income at approximately $104,700—nearly 30% above the national median and the highest of any county in Missouri.

For our business community, rising household incomes and continued population growth represent greater purchasing power, an expanding workforce and new opportunities for investment. They also reinforce the importance of thoughtfully planning for housing, transportation, infrastructure and services as St. Charles County continues to grow.

This latest recognition is another sign that St. Charles County remains a desirable place to live, work, build a business and invest in the future.
